Wedding Outfit... Choice of two. Help me decide

I'm off to a wedding in Saturday. No dress code, but it's nice to make the effort.
I'm on crutches at the mo so wanted something long to cover my bandages.
I bought the spotty one a while back and really like it.
Now, the floral one is my Mum's, vintage Jaegar from the 80's... It's the first time it's ever fitted me and I love it - it also has pockets, always a bonus.
I'm torn now...the spotty is fun and comfy. The floral makes me feel a little bit more dressed up.
I've got accessories, shoes and (biker) jacket for both - pink or black.

Soz for the crappy photos/angles...my full length mirror is down stairs and I couldn't be bothered with the bum shuffle.
Both dresses are ankle length, the floral has alittle more volume in the skirt than the picture shows.
Help me decide 😩

Spotted. On face value the floral one looks a bit more casual.

I don't think either of them are great for a wedding but out of them the vintage one is nicer.

Definitely the Jaeger. It’s lovely and it suits you and unlike the pp I think it looks a lot more special than the spotty!

Oh no! A few more votes for The Jaegar 😩 It's defo more dressy than the pic shows and defo dressy for me!

I'll try again tomorrow with full accessories and see which way I swing!

Definitely the Jaeger. The last wedding I went to was quite an eclectic mix of outfits from full on mother of the bride 2 piece and hat to jeans and trainers. Even the bride wore a denim jacket in the evening. Sounds like this wedding isn’t a traditional forms affair and the Jaeger dress obviously has special meaning so wear and enjoy IMO.

Spotty with a pop of colour, second one looks a bit casual.

Another vote for the floral! Much prettier, more interesting and classier.

I absolutely love the 2nd one. The spotty one is OK but the 2nd one is something else.

Floral. The spotty would be ok possibly without the necklace. It looks a bit fancy dress, can’t put my finger on why, I’m getting 80s vibes and picturing the necklace glowing in the dark

What the hell is appropriate for a summer wedding potentially hot unless you're going to a formal society wedding?

You go in something special but doesn't need to be new - just good looking and comfortable. Hats are great especially in summer for protection from the sun.

The spotty one looks a bit … cheap (sorry, maybe it’s the rubber necklace) and the second one is just a bit, daytime drinks in the pub?

The Jaeger for sure. Not keen on the belt. Pink belt? Or red. The polka dot one is a bit office-y.

Vintage floral but with a bright belt, like yellow or red. The black make it a little drab

I could do red, and red accessories/shoes.

The pink necklace is neither neon or rubber 😁🫣 It's knitted metal, it's heavy and swings nice! I have them in loads of different colours - they are my go-to and defo look better in RL.

I'm more confused to begin with now. I do LOVE the vintage - but lots of love for the Spots here.

Will have a mess round with some belts n stuff and update.
