DD(11) t-zone pimples - best low effort approach to skincare?

DD(11) has developed quite oily skin over the past six months. She's getting lots of pimples on her t-zone - they are small and under the surface. A few get a little bit bigger and turn in to whiteheads but not what I would call full on spots. Its obviously hormonal.

At the moment she does very little in the way of skincare - she has Cetaphil oily skin wash in the shower which I remind her to use, but that is only once a day when she showers and I'm not convinced she is actually using it!

She isn't all that bothered by them and I certainly don't want to make a big deal of it (my own mother was weirdly fixated on my skin when I was a teen) but she mentioned it in a roundabout sort of way and I think she would like to improve her skin if it doesn't involve too much effort!

Honestly I don't think I will persuade her to use anything that involves washing with a flannel unless she is already showering, so I'm thinking disposable wipes or lotion or something. She might be amenable to putting some kind of treatment on her skin after cleaning, again so long as it is simple and quick.

Any recommendations, wise ones?

This is the kind of spots I mean.

My teenagers use REN clearcalm non-drying spot treatment, it seems very gentle but does the trick (one is allergic to most suncream, the other is very fair and prone to eczema). It lasts ages too (it's not the cheapest)

I would just do a wash twice a day that has salysillic (sp?) in like cerave. Then their moisturiser. That's all I'd do at this stage.

Change pillow cases frequently

DD is a bit older - she moved to CeraVe a couple of years ago and it seems to help. She uses the hydrating cleanser as skin is a bit dry but they have other versions.

Dd (12) started using micellar cleanser, just the simple one, last year and its very noticeable when she misses a few days. I got her some reusable cotton pad things and she just cleans her face in the evening after her teeth. No moisturiser needed yet.

If your Dd is concerned about the spots then she will start washing her face when she gets up and before bed. Maybe also get her a gel moisturiser (good for oily skin).
