Can you recommend some hair vitamins that won’t cost me a fortune?

Hair is thinning and brittle, I am in my 40’s but wonder if there is anything out there that I’ve missed that is not too expensive?

I just posted this on another thread - I imagine it might not be everybody's cup of tea but it's easy and affordable if you don't mind the scent at the time and aren't allergic to dairy -

I've just started doing a hair and scalp mask using natural Greek yogurt (unsweetened, with live cultures) a couple of times a week. I use about half a cup but you might want more if you have lots of hair. I blob on a bit at a time and massage into scalp and hair. Make sure it coats the ends as well. Leave on for 10 mins or so then shampoo and condition as normal.

I've been finding it really great, my hair is much softer and not dry at the ends any more, and (a couple of weeks in) I can go an extra day between washes - 3 instead of 2. There's no residual yogurty smell afterwards- just the usual conditioner scent.

Sorry meant to say that my hair is thinning a bit as well as being really dry (thanks peri!) and I'm trying this for both. So far so good for the dryness, fingers crossed for the thinning!

High strength biotin tablets off Amazon.

I recently spent a fortune on hair supplements to find out when I read the ingredients that’s basically all they were, but in fancy packaging.
