I finally got round to buying one last week after seeing great reviews on here and seeing how it leaves my friends hair looking amazing.

I am gutted, it didn’t work for me. I have curly hair that I like to blow smooth and straight and thought it would be ideal. It just turned it into a frizz ball! It would be brilliant for people with straighter hair and I can see why people rave about it because it did leave my hair looking full of volume but it my hair is just too curly for it not to frizz up.

Oh well back to the drawing board to find the perfect tool. Another £65quid down the drain 😂. It will go on eBay 😂 if anyone wants it at half proce let me know!

I have one, frizzy hair and get away with not having to straighten it if I use it correctly
Do you use any products on hair alongside it?

Think you def need to practice and find what works for you

Myself I rough dry and then go thru in sections; bottom, middle and top.

Yes I used the normal products that I always use and sectioned my hair after drying it off. It just isnt good for me. No way I could get away without straightening, for me I get a lot better results with my hairdryer. My friend who also has one and it works great for her, even tried it on my hair and used it the same way she does hers and agreed it wasn’t for me! I was gutted because I had high hopes but suppose it doesn’t work for everyone.

Tried again today as a last ditch attempt in the hope that I was doing it wrong! Still a frizzy mess, it is going!

Do you rough dry it first?

I have frizzy hair and this device smooths it well!

Your hair should be 85% dry when you start to use it. I use it with elvive endless lengths no cut creme.

I have curly frizzy hair and absolutely love mine. Leaves it smooth and volumised, no need for straighteners. In fact my cloud 9 straighteners haven't been used in months!

Your hair needs to be at least 50% dry. And you need to work in small sections from the underneath to the top and ensure they're fully dry before moving to the next. Any dampness left will just cause frizziness.

I use it on the highest setting with heat protector (kerastase ciment thermique).

There is a really good YouTube tutorial on how to use it effectively. Maybe try that because I've never heard of anyone who doesn't love theirs.

Good luck!

I have tried it all, I leave my hair until it is around 70% dry, use product on it and dry it then. My friend has one and loves it and she was here the other day and showed me properly how she uses it then she even had a go on my hair for me and agrees that it seems to work very differently on my hair!

It is a shame because I also have never heard of anybody who didn’t love it so I had high hopes, but it’s not for me!
