Returning clothes - delivery recommendations

I'm returning some dresses. The guidance says:

The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. Therefore, for your own protection we recommend that you send the parcel using a trackable delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.

Any recommendations as to who to use? Easiest option I think is Royal Mail. It weighs 1.4 kilos...

The value of the items is over £100 which seems to rule out the cheaper RM options - as far as I can see only special delivery will cover it.

Royal mail signed for. How many dresses for 1.4 kilos?!

I generally use royal mail if I can. Have you looked at the prices for tracked 48? You can get them to pick it up from your house for 60p, you can't do tracked 48 at post offices though.

Have you looked at Hermes or whatever they are called? They've been quite good for me.

Or if Royal Mail is easiest for you go with them. Why so many dresses? Was it one of those shit companies where you have to order 3 sizes as they don't have standard sizes? They are annoying.

Jasper Conran. Two dresses only. But bloody big ones. Another reason to hate voluminous maxi dresses, as well as the fact they make me look dreadful.

They came in a reusable box which I'm using to send them back in, which obviously adds to the weight.

Ah I feel your pain. Such a hassle isn't it. Anyway I think royal mail is the best way to go personally. I'd trust them to actually get them there.
