Where do 14 year old boys buy clothes these days?
Son in desperate need of clothes e.g. non-sport shorts.

Is he in men's sizes? DS likes Zara, urban outfitters, Primark, ASOS, Zalando. Also he buys 2nd hand stuff on Depop and Vinted.

SpeedofaSloth · 29/05/2022 18:32

Decathlon for sportswear, they do good slim joggers that he likes.
JD Sport
Uniqlo
Er, that's it.... Following for some ideas!

Next go up to 16 online for basics

Walkingtheplank · 29/05/2022 18:59

Thanks so far.
He's a skinny 5'9" so not sure if that makes him a man or boy. It's been a while since we went into an actual shop to buy non-sport clothes.

Primark and Asda here.

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 29/05/2022 19:18

Mine is an adult but tall , thin, no interest in labels .

Primark
H&M
Zalando for hoodies ( with the all important zip pocket so he doesn't lose things )

Used to be TopMan, lovely TShirts, really good quality thick cotton.

gunnersgold · 29/05/2022 19:26

Next also do xxs in mens so that might be better . Prob have to order some to try !

Louise0701 · 29/05/2022 19:29

JD
Zara
River island
flannels

Hoppinggreen · 29/05/2022 19:32

DS is in men’s clothes now, he shops in Hollister, Abercrombie, Uniqlo mainly

PortiaFimbriata · 29/05/2022 19:35

Primark, H&M

Sebastianthecoo · 29/05/2022 19:37

DS14 is the same height as your DS and skinny. I still buy his clothes as he has no interest in fashion (yet!) but mainly Jack Wills, they are good quality, nice colours, good fit and usually in the sale!

GingeryLemons · 29/05/2022 19:39

H&M, Matalan, Primark, charity shops. Actively avoids brand labels and prefers plain basics.

FaintlyMacabre · 29/05/2022 19:42

Hollister sizing is good for the awkward phase where they’re too big for children’s clothes but not big enough for men’s .

zighead · 29/05/2022 19:44

Primark and ASOS for my DS

He'll be fine in men's xs/s - mine is 5'10"ish not skinny but not big. He wears men's M-L most places. Forgot about H&M as we sadly don't have one in town. If we did I'm sure DS would love it!
