Has anyone successfully addressed hyperpigmentation?

I am nearly 50 and wear SPF50 on my face every single day. However, I have some hyperpigmentation, possibly due to age, and also to the fact that I only started to wear sunscreen daily about 15 years ago. I have tried lasers (from medical places, not at home), vitamin 5 serums, and other skincare. But nothing really seems to work. I have olive skin and besides hyperpigmentation my skin is OK for my age. I'd love to get rid of those darker patches. Has anyone addressed the same issue with success?

I haven't but I have similar issues and am planning to try hydroquinone which I have seen some good results for.

Do you need a prescription for that?

I use retinol and hydroquinone on prescription from Dermatica. It’s an online prescription service with a dermatologist. I used it a few years and successfully cleared up my age spots. But unfortunately I stopped and they came back, with more now too. I’ve recently restarted, hoping to have the same results again and keep it up this time.

Yes, I had a greyish patch on my nose. This sorted it - Dr Organics Royal Jelly Light and Bright Cream. Cheap and I found it very gentle too, moisturising not drying. 🙂
