Skincare, but for your whole body

Has anybody got any miracle products?

It sounds strange but I look at other womens arms/legs/feet etc and they look so smooth and free of imperfections. Is there a secret? My shins are chock full of those little black dots you get after shaving and my feet always look so purple pale and veiny. The less said about the bumps and cellulite on my thighs and upper arms the better!!

I'm going on holiday in a month so I'd really like to try and improve my skins texture to feel more confident.

Anyone?

I've just bought a Japanese nylon salux cloth/towel from Amazon. I think it's machine washable. It gives lovely soft skin anyway.

This gets great reviews for dry brushing for skin texture and cellulite- and then shower - and then massage in something like Nuxe Huile Prodigieuse- I love the floral one.
Bit of an investment but lasts ages as you only need a bit.

I have only just bought myself a dry brush as feeling similarly sluggish, so I can't comment yet from personal experience but the reviews on JL look quite hopeful... i do love the nuxe oil though. It takes a bit of time to absorb and then leaves a lovely sheen.

You can get much cheaper ones, I had a bodyshop one, but the bristles were really soft so I'm not convinced it worked - this one is quite firm and so it feels like it's really working – you only use it gently.

Oh yes, would second the idea of a body brush.

I use a Salux cloth and a body scrub too
Shower oil for moisture (good for shaving as well)
It stinks but palmers anti ageing lotion is amazing for bumpy upper arms and flaky skins etc
Then I file my feet (while dry) with a microplane foot file and they get a scrub with the cloth too and palmers lotion

Try using a body lotion that has some active ingredients in it - glycolic acid for exfoliation.
Dry brushing is really good if you are consistent with it.

Also, when I started exercising again after a long time, I found the skin on my upper legs and thighs was much smoother. I think because of the increased blood flow or something.

I do like luxury body lotions but I have also found that baby lotion is a great carrier for rose oil which when combined makes a lovely lasting body moisturiser.

I like the Pixi one but you could use any brand that suits your budget and you like the smell of.

Lancôme Nutrix in the bottle not the tub is lovely.

My skin has improved quite a bit after starting to use bath salts regularly. I often shower but about twice a week now I take a bath with a mix of regular cooking salt from the supermarket, Epsom salts, and dead sea salts (about a third of a cup each but I'm not very precise about it). It seems to be good for my eczema, and also those little skin bump things, and also seems to be quite moisturising (as long as I don't stay in for too long). My skin texture seems much healthier

I meant to add that I don't use any kind of exfoliating brush as my skin just comes up red and angry if I do - so the closest I come to exfoliating is drying with the towel after bath/shower
