Yay, No7 are returning some products back to old formula

Namely beautifully matte foundation which they completely ruined with the new formula.

long chat with No7 assists today who said the backlash of complaints over changes was unprecedented and they will be returning to the old formula. Not sure what the timeline is on that but I guess enough people voted with their feet to force the change!

I wish they would bring back their blusher in "damson" shade, it was the perfect colour for me and I've never been able to find a replacement 😢

Oh I loved soft damson! Dark hair and fair skin here and it was perfect.

Yes I have dark hair and pale skin! Every blusher I've tried since makes me look like a clown! Loved the brush that came with it too.

They axed the liquid eyeliner I had been using for over 30 years 😫

Gosh I hope the old style serum foundation and its cool pink undertone shades reappears! Having said that I've been impressed with the cheap, cheerful but really pigmented make up in the relaunched 17 range: five pounds for the foundation!

We only really discussed the foundation but with a bit of luck other products will make their way back. It sounded like it’s all been a total disaster for them, talk about not understanding your customer base!

Oh I hope they change the hydraluminous foundation too! I finally found a foundation I loved (and even got complimented on it a couple of times) only for them to change the formula 3 months later and now it's crap.

Loved beautifully matte before and got the new one, it's so shit ! And much preferred the pump bottle before to the wand

I bought an eyeshadow primer from them recently and it’s honestly so shit it’s put me off No7 for good

Oh no wtf I literally just ordered one in the hopes I’d be able to tolerate it on my skin as have an event coming up Amd Id seen great reviews - I assume of the old formulation 😞

@notthisTimeMr yes there doesn't seem to be many recent reviews since they changed the formula which is surprising as it's nowhere near as good as it used to be. It's difficult to blend and looks caked on no matter what I try, the old formula was so natural looking.

I wonder if I’ll be able to return it id chosen it based on reviews of the old formula
its weird as old and new formula when I look up ingredients are the same I assume they’ve just made different quantities of things ?

i can’t Usually tolerate foundation or spf so was really hoping this was the one but now I think I’ve just basically wasted money

You should be able to return it. I did when I bought the beautifully matte one and I didn’t even have a receipt. I think they are so aware of how much people are hating the new formula they won’t even quibble. Just say you didn’t realise the formula had changed and it’s no longer the right tone for you skin and frankly an unusable pile of rubbish!

I literally had assumed only the packaging had changed as they hadn’t updated ingredients 😞 such a shame

Good! I bought a foundation ive used for 15 years and it’s broken my out in hives! It took a bit for me to realise it was the foundation. I went back into store and thé my give me a tester of refresh snd Renee snd that set in my skin like chalk! Not happy, I want a refund but not sure where I’ll stand with that?
