This style of scoop tee but cheaper

I need cheap, but this is Hush style and colour. I like most colours, I need a few, but grey is fine too.

I have some T-shirt's that came in 2 packs from George and they are great, but they only seem to do crew neck. And crew neck looks a bit too covered in summer. But Asda is my price range really .

Morrisons had some t-shirts like this last year, not sure about the range of colours.

gymNamaste · 13/05/2022 13:05

@Whiteclaw ahhh I'll have to go out, maybe primark too. I have a wild 2 year old < shudders > and everything involves a 30 minute drive first

Marks have some great plain t shirts at the moment. I have this one: www.marksandspencer.com/linen-rich-crew-neck-t-shirt/p/clp60539106?color=WHITE

This is £12 and comes in a few colours rapanuiclothing.com/product/plain-womens-organic-top/

heidipi · 13/05/2022 13:56

Ooh @GettingStuffed have you got the Rapanui ones? They are doing 5 for £35 at the moment which is great if they’re nice quality and wash well etc. Thx

peridito · 13/05/2022 18:04

Wow those rapanui T shirts are just what I've been looking for!

Thank you for posting GettingStuffed

Summerholidayorcovidagain · 13/05/2022 18:09

I came on to say Morrison's also. I have a lovely mango coloured one!

MadeinBelfast · 13/05/2022 18:24

H&M have some. They're found under 'deep neckline t shirts'. They don't have very summery colours though, I'm hoping they add a few more.

CoffeeBeansGalore · 13/05/2022 18:41

Asda have some v-neck. Also same style in a black/white 2 pack

Thank you so much for posting these t shirts... Just what I have been looking for. Love you can choose the colours in the multi packs. Ordering and I'll report back!

gymNamaste · 13/05/2022 23:22

Oh yes thanks I like the look of the Rapanui ones @GettingStuffed . And I love that you can pick your own colours for the multipack. I just need to decide 12 or 14. I am slim-ish ( been on a diet) but tall and sometimes need a 14 for the length. I don't want to have to return, tried to check but I assume I'd have to pay the return postage if too big/ small.

Rapuni’s return policy really isn’t clear is it? It mentions a free post address for UK but then has a weird “enter your order number to see if it’s eligible for return” thing?

PawPrintsInMyPansies · 14/05/2022 08:35

These look amazing and just what I’m looking for. Can anyone comment on the sizing please? I have a larger busy and am unsure whether to get 12 or 14.

Branleuse · 14/05/2022 08:52

Primark slouch tees are brilliant. Really light for the summer too

Jellycatspyjamas · 14/05/2022 08:53

Rapanui are excellent, I’d say they are true to size and a decent length - they easily cover my mum tum without being baggy. And they’ll recycle them when you’re done with them so excellent green credentials.

PerpetualStudent · 14/05/2022 08:56

I came on to say rapanui! They are the best t-shirts I’ve ever had, great quality and length. I’ve not used their returns but DH has and didn’t seem to have any issue with it

I am a 12/14 with 32 E/F bust. I got normal crews in a 14 and 3 boxy crops in a 12. I could have had a 12 in all of them, but the slightly looser fit of the 14s is ok.

gymNamaste · 14/05/2022 21:05

@Slidey23 is .... ? I just can't decide between 12 & 14 ...maybe I'll go for 12

OP posts:
Slidey23 · 15/05/2022 07:24

My post turned up in green somehow. I have no clue how that happened
I think they’re slightly on the generous side, so 12 would probably be fine 🙂

Rapanui take some clothing back for recycling, that probably confusing folks that are looking at returns info.

Roughntumble · 15/05/2022 12:52

I don't get the love for Rapanui on here, I bought 3 a while back and they're nothing special. I particularly wanted a good quality white tee and disappointingly, the quality was as crap as everywhere else. Thin slightly see-through fabric.

I've gone back to Primark as, if they're poor quality, I won't have wasted too much money. And sometimes their quality is surprisingly good!

I'm also a bit mystified - the t-shirt shown above is absolutely bog standard (in an older adult catalogue way) so I'm surprised so many people are keen.

peridito · 15/05/2022 14:04

@Roughntumble

the t shirts at cotton traders seem to be a decent weight
crew ,V and granddad

I’ve got 5 Rapanui T-shirts and none of them are see through. They’re not my favourite T-shirts but they are relatively cheap for the quality, organic cotton, and they will recycle so that has a bearing on my buying choice. I don’t want to spend my money on sweatshop supporting brands. Thought are better but they’re £30 and I can’t justify that on a T-shirt.

Redleaftea · 20/05/2022 21:37

I really like the ethos of rapanui, and the range of designs and cuts, but ... The t-shirts are not long enough to cover mum tum, they are on the small side, and the design on mine is cracking after 10 months, and I've only washed it on a delicate cycle.
