I use this as directed before I put my moisturiser on. Before I go out and buy another, do you really think it makes a difference?
It's meant to make moisturiser better easier to sink into the skin, but I don't know if it's really necessary.
I buy it from makeup revolution mainly and have been using for at least a year. Thanks

Personally, no, I don't think it makes much difference. The industry jury is still out anyway on topically applied HA. Almost every moisturizer and serum contains it anyway. I've got a bottle of Hada Labo gold that I've used about half of, and some Vichy 89 Probiotic Fractions. I do like the Vichy, but it soothes my skin I feel rather than adding extra moisture.
I probably won't bother buying any more.

I really like it - it has to go on damp skin though, and then a little bit of moisturiser locks in the hydration. Whether moisturiser straight onto damp skin works just as well I don't know, but it's part of a skincare routine that I find works really well for me.

Thanks for that, it helps.
I use MooGoo full cream moisturiser on my face which is really good and gentle and very economical if used just as a face cream rather than the full body.

My moisturiser says on the back of the tube to apply to damp skin.

I don't feel it does anything. I feel as though the damp skin, then hyaluronic acid serum, then moisturiser just blends into a wetter mix. I can't use as much moisturiser, which as it's the spf might matter.

I didn't think it made a difference, then I started spraying the revolution hyaluronic face mist on before I applied the revolution hyaluronic acid. Game changer is all I can say .

It doesn't work for me, even following advice to apply it to damp skin and put moisturiser straight on top it just makes my skin drier and irritated. I think it works slightly better applied as a serum and then using a normal moisturiser but I still found it left me drier than I would normally be. It's becoming difficult to avoid as it seems to be in everything as though including it on the packaging (usually in a negligible percentage) means whatever product it is will suddenly be some sort of moisture bomb for the face and 'lock in' dewy skin all day. It seems like such advertising nonsense.

The only thing that remotely provides long lasting moisture for me are humectants and emollients; I use the Eucerin 5% urea moisturiser and it's brilliant, and not greasy, otherwise I use Aveeno cream, or mix the two in summer.
