How do i get shiny sleek hair?

My hair is shoulder length and very fine/thin. I just had it coloured (blonde highlights) and cut and I'm happy with it for the first hour after I've styled it but after that it just gets tangled easily and as soon as i step outside and the wind gets to it it looks awful. I get the same colour and cut done every 12 weeks or so. I use a deep conditioner twice a week, washed every day or every other day with shampoo for coloured hair. What can i do to make it sleek and shiny and stay that way throughout the day? Its been like this for years and i feel like getting it cut and coloured is a waste of money when day to day i really hate how it looks.

If shampoos and conditioners aren't doing the job, it might be your diet or something from within so to speak.

I'd recommend taking a collagen supplement (I use Bettervits) for my hair/skin/nails and its worked very well.

My hair is similar, I use a keratin blowdry treatment which I do at home for a fraction of the hairdressers price which stops any knots tangles and makes hair manageable. I also use phillip kingsley elasticsizer which gives great shine and leave shair silky smooth. These are my holy grail products.

Use coconut oil on the ends/lengths. It’s about £2.50 in Superdrug and it’s the only thing that gives me sleek/shiny/swishy hair.

hairspray? It’s the only thing that keeps my fringe in place

I have thick hair which left to itself will resemble a haystack, so not same type as yours, but I've found both Olaplex (no 0 then no 3) and L'Oréal wonder water both make a difference to how it looks& feels. But I still have to straighten it which is not good for condition. Oh also argan oil , a tiny amount on the ends after washing.

Some people (like us) are just unlucky. My sister has beautiful naturally glossy hair that doesn't frizz or need straighteners.

You could try doing the O'Wow treatment at home if you'd be up for a self applied thing? It's like getting a smoothing salon treatment but cheaper and cruelty free.
