Bralets/pull on type bras

My bras are driving me demented. I've done the whole boob or bust measuring and tried the size and sister sizes and just can't get a bra that is comfy and stays out without leaving red marks. I'm considering bralets or the pull on type. I have bad sensory issues and am like the princess and the pea with any tiny scratchy bits or threads. I'll link to what I'm thinking of. Can anyone recommend anything similar? I'm a 34D/32F or something but these come in small medium etc

Can't comment on that one but I have one from John Lewis own brand with molded cups and it's the most comfortable thing I've ever worn. Not as pretty as the one you've posted but I don't care.

GettingStuffed · 26/04/2022 19:10

I doubt they'll have enough support for an F cup, but you'll need to try, have you considered a sports bra? The second one is really pretty.

M&S have some fab ones. I bought about 5 recently. They do a pack of 3 which are so comfy.

FourOclock · 26/04/2022 19:16

Following! I've been living in Boody and Organic Basics bralettes for a few years now but would quite like to try a few others

gymbummy · 26/04/2022 19:21

Sainsburys do a really cheap lace bralet crop top thing. Very comfy and I'm a 30dd, not sure if it's supportive enough for bigger boobs. Bit of a palaver to get on over the head though as it gets a bit tangled up, especially if you're too lazy to get properly dry after a shower....

mudgetastic · 26/04/2022 19:27

Molke

BewareTheBeardedDragon · 26/04/2022 19:35

Nowadays I only wear the Zara bralette from Bravissimo - I have several. I no longer wear proper bras. It is a really nice shape, pretty, and comfy. It has hooks at the back, which is good for adjustability but no plastic on the straps (they're not adjustable).
I am well endowed (30FF) and I find it the perfect combo of supportive and comfortable.

The Heist ones are pretty and comfortable.

uniqlo camisole bra tops are great

DrBrennerFan · 26/04/2022 19:55

Sports bras are the devil for me to get on and off I’ve given up with bras due to arthritis thank god I’m small breasted at least can hide under baggy t shirts.

cannaethink · 26/04/2022 19:55

I have various pull on bralettes from TK Maxx. There’s usually a pretty good selection from brands like Nautica and Lucky Brand.
I’m a 28E and usually get a M in this type of bra, which can be a bit loose on the band but fits my boobs. It’s easy enough to sew the bands a wee bit tighter I’ve found.

orchidsunrise · 26/04/2022 20:46

I have the same problem with sizing in that literally no size fits me properly and so I too have given up and only wear bralettes. My boobs are much smaller tho. I wear sloggi but I'm starting to find them a bit bulky and tbh they don't fit brilliantly or give any support. They're certainly not in anyway sexy. I need something with a daintier profile but still with built in shape since otherwise my pear shape is too extreme and my clothes don't fit properly! The bravissimo ones are too big for me. Heist look ok although unpadded? Can people post links when suggesting?

robocracker · 26/04/2022 21:10

Molke!

hepaticanobilis · 26/04/2022 21:20

You will hate Molke if you have sensory issues, the seams are so sharp and dig in. I can't understand why they make them like that.

mudgetastic · 26/04/2022 21:26

Perhaps you have the wrong size ? I find Molke so much more comfortable than anything else I have ever tried. No digging in, no rubbing , comfortable fabric , no falling off shoulders

this one looks very good!

ghislaine · 26/04/2022 22:24

I also have the Bravissimo Zara. It is very comfy although I find having four hooks on the band a bit of a faff.

iCouldSleepForAYear · 26/04/2022 22:35

This one is nice for a fancy pull-on bralette: www.bellewrenlingerie.com/product-page/cosabella-curvy-racerback-bralette

And for less fancy but also super comfy, I highly recommend H&M sports bras. Lots of success with these two:

www2.hm.com/en_gb/productpage.0869331006.html

I'm a 36FF or 34 g, and the XL for that one fits a bit large. I could probably get away with a L for firmer support.

www2.hm.com/en_gb/productpage.1017573001.html

A L from the plus sized range in this one is super comfy.

None of these options are ones I'd feel great sprinting for a bus in. And the H&M ones defo have the mono boob effect. But they're perfect for WFH slouching, yoga, gardening, and I've even slept in them.

iCouldSleepForAYear · 26/04/2022 22:37

If scratchy bits drive you batty, the last sports bras I linked are seamless and non-ribbed. The care info is printed onto the fabric iirc, so I don't think there are any tags to manage either.

iCouldSleepForAYear · 26/04/2022 22:46

And there are some options for the same bra in the non plus size range too.

Rainallnight · 26/04/2022 23:08

This is a good review of different bralettes and the article that first put me onto them. I have a few M&S ones.

Insertdeadcatsnamehere · 27/04/2022 09:54

I find Molke pretty much impossible to get on and off. Such a hassle and the fabric feels really unpleasant. They support one boob more than the other due to the design and I also think they're very expensive for what they are. Massively overrated. M and S do a nice lace one for DD+ at about £10. Fairly supportive and I'm about a 32F.

catsonahottinroof · 27/04/2022 11:19

The ones in your first link look like they might be ok, but the second one could be too small and flimsy.
These are good and comfy, and they have a back fastening so are easy to put on, even though they're lace they're soft and no padding or underwires to irritate. Someone linked to them on another thread and I now have them in blue and white - you might need a size higher in the band but same cup size, so for you I would try 34F. www.marksandspencer.com/lace-non-wired-non-padded-bralet-f-/p/clp60451802?color=MEDIUMBLUE&prevPage=srp
