Will something like Skin & Me or Dermatica help with this?

I have horrible acne and have done for the last 5 years or so. Never had it as a teen, but now in my late twenties and it is raging. I mostly get big white sore spots around my chin, cheeks and jawline, and some blackheads too. I have PCOS and believe it's hormonal, but my GP hasn't been very helpful so I wondered if this was worth trying? Or as its hormonal will it not do anything until I get the hormones sorted?

yeah its def hormonal if its around those areas. Yes dermatica /skin & me can formulate a prescription for you to help with acne. I've used dermatica in the past and I really like it.

Skin and me has basically shifted my acne totally (jaw/chin)
I did a photo shoot the other day with just foundation and then realised I haven't used concealer for months now

i’ve had clindamycin in my Dermatica prescription which has cleared my skin up (like you, chin and jaw spots and hormonal issues),.

I use Dermatica for Rosacea, wish I had found it years ago.
I like Dermatica as it's just one product at night, nice and easy.
I think you can get your first month for just the postage cost.

Yes I believe so.

I think Tret was originally developed to treat acne and the anti aging benefits were observed later.

You aren't tied in so if you give it a few months and no improvement you can cancel.

A tube lasts me about 5 weeks but I use almost daily

If you want a referrer code 👌

I've been trying out skin and me (really impressed so far with its effect on my acne) but have just signed up to try out dermatica (I like that it is a tad cheaper). I'll report back about which one works better for me.

If anyone is considering either I have referral codes for both I'm happy to share 😊.

Skin & Me 2 months free (ex prescription fee of £3.50)

Dermatica (seems to be £2.90 then 25% off the next month using referral code)

Yes I think Dermatica will help as I think it changes the way your skin works at a fundamental level. It stops pores getting so clogged, sort of exfoliating them from the inside out. My chin used to be covered in blackheads and oil and I’d get cystic spots which took ages to come to a head (though recently I’ve discovered topical aspirin stops those in their tracks). Ask for tretinoin and clindamycin or just let them prescribe if you say your concerns are spots. You can also have it with niacinamide for oil, though my skin is still v oily really.

I’ve been on Dermatica for about three years and love it. I mostly don’t use any other night moisturiser.

I had PCOS years back and taking the pill was a big help then too though.
