Philips Sonicare Diamond HX9350 help

I have one of these I got as a gift still in good condition charged regularly and vibrates however the actual brush head isn’t spinning at all . I had been using non brand heads from Amazon as the Philips heads are extortionate however I have bought new heads by Philips and still have same issues . Has anyone else had this problem as I feel like it’s probably solved easily

The head is not supposed to spin. The Sonicare toothbrushes vibrate.

Vibrate even it now makes no vibration at the head only the handle

I brought cheap replacement brush heads for mine because i could never find the original ones in stock. Unfortunately it was never the same after this.

I fear you may have to purchase a new one they are hideously expensive I know but nothing else does the job so well.

I now do a £12.50 a month package with sonicare where i get the toothbrush plus a replacement head every 3 months. Obviously i'll only pay this for a year though

Sonicare prices seem to have doubled or even tripled recently. Never thought i'd see the day when I had a rent a toothbrush coz I can''t afford to buy one lol

I bet that’s what’s happened to mine . Do you have a link for the subscription at all ?

How long have you had it? I've used this brand of brush for a long time because I love it but unfortunately it does eventually stop working and needs to be replaced. In my experience, it only lasts about a year

My Sonicare Diamondclean is nearly 5 years old now! They are often on sale with massive discounts so worth keeping an eye out, on Black Friday etc you can get them less than half price.

It's just on their normal website OP, link above.

My last one only lasted a year but the one before that lasted 10 years. Getting sick of stuff not lasting to be honest.

Ha, I just noticed that the one I subscribed to last week has gone up already. I pay £12.50 now they are asking £13.99.

Thanks for the link .
I’ve had it for 5 years and it’s in great condition so just seems frustrating that experiencing this issue with it . Currently watching you tube fixes just in case it’s something I can try myself to sort .

I fear it may be end of life if it’s been fine till now. FYI my dentist (and the previous one too) prefers the rotary electric toothbrushes as they’re more effective (apparently). The Oral B Pro ones for example. My Sonicare is in the drawer, the Oral B one definitely makes my teeth feel cleaner. I mention this in case you need to get a new one and they are cheaper too.

I’ve ordered the Ordo Sonic and will let a family member try faff about with a you tube fix video and the Philips one . The Philips reviews for more recent brushes aren’t great in terms of problems with them
