Botox or fillers for jowls / jowly jaw line anyone?

Please no judgments - I believe it's anyone right to use injectables if it helps boost their confidence.

Has anyone successfully had cosmetic injections (Botox or fillers) to VERY subtly help a jowly jaw line? I am fed up with mine as I have aged, and even though I'm fit and toned across my body there is nothing you can do for this part of your face! I've tried Foreo Bear but nothing much has happened! It's at the sides of my jawline if that makes sense, where they sort of droop down. I've tried make up but it hasn't worked. If I could subtly tweak it I think it would be a real confidence boost for me. Has anyone done this and would be willing to share what they had done?

Cheek fillers might help. I've seen something called HIFU for Jowls but don't know if it works. Other than that you might be looking at lower face lift.

Foreo bear is prob better as preventative, once the sag and jowls have begun any improvement it might make will be minimal at best.

Thanks. I definitely won't be going for face lift, so hoping some injectable works.

I had some for what my aesthetician called 'pre-jowels' - very very subtle, a little bit of filler in my cheeks to replace a little bit of lost volume, and a little bit either side of my chin to lift the 'pre-jowels' - I have to say, I am thrilled with the results, and over a year later we both agreed I don't need any top up yet, structurally the effects are still completely there. Got this just over a year ago as well as a bit of Botox on my forehead and some profhilo (I was getting married, but am just turned 40 and had had a horrendous year, redundancy, bereavement, oh and a global pandemic and boy was it showing on my face). I have just recently had the Botox and profhilo topped up. I genuinely love the results, so if this is something you want OP I say go for it, but definitely research the practitioner. I love the lady I go to, she is a fully qualified dentist so is very knowledgeable about facial anatomy and her ethos is about great skincare first and foremost and very subtle enhancements which just take you back to how you were rather than drastically altering anything or looking fake. 100% no one knows I've had any work done (apart from my DH who was against it to start but agrees I just look fresher and not tired).

Similarly btw I had bought a NuFace to try and deal with the slight sagging and it made the teeniest tiniest improvement, but it was the filler that has actually made the difference. After two years of zoom meetings it felt like watching my face age in real time, I could just see this slight sagging of the 'pre-jowels' which I hated. The other thing which has also made a difference to my jawline is I do quite vigorous facial massage every morning with my cleanser (Nicola Joss is a facialist who started posting videos of her technique on Instagram during lockdown but there are quite a lot of facialists who post videos) - this has definitely given me more definition.

Can I recommend this face yoga? Takes a few minutes a couple of times a day. 3 weeks in I see a huge difference. I actually noticed a bit of a difference within 7-10 days.

Worth a try whilst deciding what to go for.
