Beauty treatments - Will you need to cut back due to cost increases?

Will you have to give up or compromise on any hair/beauty treatments due to the current price increases?

I like to get my nails done a couple of times per month, but noticed while booking online the beauty therapist has had quite a steep increase in prices - a manicure has increased by 16%! My salary increase this year is likely to be around 1%, so this just doesn't add up sadly. 16% is a huge increase along with the increase in electricity and petrol etc.

I have a couple of special occasions so will be getting my nails and lashes done but after they're all over I'll be getting my nails removed and the lashes will grow out. I can't justify the price when my energy bills are more expensive than the treatments.

I think I'll have to cut back; I will still get my hair coloured every 2-3 months but I'll have to cut back nails, facials, massages, that I usually enjoy

I consider my regular treatments as essentials, these are hairdressers, waxing and laser hair removal. I will continue with these.

I don't do nails or eyelashes. I love facials and massages, but these are rare treats anyway, so I guess that won't change.

I do some of my own beauty treatments anyway , eg face masks, top up waxing, body exfoliation, hair treatments, pedicures, so I'll just continue with these.

I get my lashes and nails done V cheaply as one of my DDs runs the salon (Wink) and it's only once every 6 weeks. But my poor blonde hair is looking quite warm as i can't afford to splurge the monthly tenner on the ashy wella toner i usually buy to do at home.

My Kerastase shampoo and cond is running low and I am running out of revitalash and i TOTALLY can't afford to replace either of those right now

Yes I have although I'm a country girl, nails aren't important to me! Hair always has been though and I have now managed since last Autumn without going. It's box dyes and home cuts for me from now on (long hair/dye roots).

I am already cutting and colouring my own hair since lockdown 2 years ago and have not had a professional facial for years although was intending to treat myself but when I think about how many hours I have to work to pay for one it is over 50% of my daily pay so no, unlikely to have one will do a scrub and pack at home although I did always love the massage of my face and neck.

I don’t really get much done, have a facial and massage once a month and hair cut and coloured every 10 weeks or so, happy to continue with those. I could cut the facials and massages to once every other month and stretch our hair appointments but no need to at the moment, who knows what will change in the future?!
Do my own nails, eyebrows and leg shaving anyway and never done anything with my eyelashes.

Yes I’ve had to go back to my natural colour because I can’t keep up with dying it
