Frizzy hair - about to order from Feelunique

I'm about to place a Feelunique order and am looking for anything to de-frizz my hair. I've tried products in the past that just haven't done anything, so happy to pay more than I usually would for a product that actually works.

Any recommendations? Waist-length wavy-ish hair.

Olaplex has helped me but I still haven't found the perfect product

I really like some of their products but the number 7 oil just hasn't really ever done anything for me sadly.

Olaplex 6 works well on my dry, curly, frizzy hair.

Similar hair to you, OP. Very long, wavy.

The Olaplex oil is one of my favourite things - though mostly on wet hair, I cheat and plait mine overnight (use silk pillow, bonnet when hair is dry). I use a few shampoos on rotation, favourite mask is elasticizer.

Rarely use heat, wash only once or twice a week. But Wow dream coat (recommendation from here) is good for blow drying. Kerastase Discipline Fluidissime spray is a more recent purchase I use when hair is wet, also.

I use other things, just trying to think what Feelunique might sell.

Davines OI oil is really good for frizz and smells amazing. It's expensive, though.

Similar hair here and tried the Wow dream coat and it didn't do anything for me. I watched some YouTube videos about it and it seems to work if your hair is a little frizzy. It probably didn't work for me because my hair is coarse and frizzy. One woman in one of the videos I watched had my hair type and said she wouldn't recommend it.

I've never found anything that helped.

I have tried loads of products. Currently using morrocan oil products, seems pretty good so far. Didn't rate opalex and dreamcoat is ok but I can't be bothered to dry my hair every time. I also didn't find it lasted that long.

Lastminpanic · 01/04/2022 18:32

Aveda damage remedy is expensive but works on my hair, and a silk pillowcase and silk scrunchie to tie hair back keeps the frizz away.

Fleurtjeblau · 01/04/2022 18:34

It's difficult because in general, I prefer to let my hair air dry, which then becomes lovely beach waves but there's always the dreaded frizz. I want to look like a goddess, not like I was thrown off my surfboard and let my hair dry face down in the sand.

I really loved Bumble and Bumble invisible oil but it's €40 for 100ml and I just can't bring myself to pay for it again. Will check out your recs now!

That Davines oil looks promising. I use the Davines golden shampoo, which is nice, if a little drying (good condition needed).

ArabeI · 01/04/2022 18:39

Yes, you can have your hair just right and a change in the weather damp/heat can make it pouff, as I call it. A bit of hairspray or mousse helps a bit, or silk scrunchie ( as mentioned ) tied back.

Mercurial123 · 02/04/2022 04:23

I live in a hot country which v. is humid in summer. Agree hairspray helps.

I also use the Davines Oi oil. It's really good.
