Under eye concealer

I am looking for an under eye concealer that doesn't sit in my increasingly crepey skin below my eyes. I have been using No 7 Hydraluminous but have noticed recently that it is looking cakey and sitting in the little creases and crevices. Can anyone recommend anything that gives a little coverage but is also light and moisturising. Thank you!

The Laura Mercier concealer in a pot is really good. You only need a tiny bit. It really brightens too

It's probably old fashioned nowadays, but I still love Touche Eclat by Yves Saint Laurent. It's not cheap, but it does last for a long time.

I haven't tried but am interested in it - Trinny London have a serum/concealer called BFF Eye. I'm looking for something different for the same reasons as you. It's £26 though.

I like Glossier stretch. I don't have the crepey eye problem (yet!) so I can't say how good it is for that, but it is very light in texture and not cakey so I think it would work well. If you email them with a photo they can advise which shade to choose.

I have delicate dark skin under my eyes and honestly find the products in pots like Glossier and Laura Mercier too thick to apply. I feel like I'm stretching the skin further and it's quite drying. I don't enjoy the feeling and ended up throwing entire pots of both away. I'm using hydraluminous atm and agree it can be temperamental.

The only concealer I've really loved is Hydrosil dry eye concealer by a small British company called Skinshop. I haven't purchased in a while as the packaging was frustratingly bad and prone to breaking. BUT I've just checked and they've changed it now, so I'm going to try again:

I have dreadful dark circles, its genetic and a decent concealer is like the holy grail. I've tried all sorts. Honestly the best I've tried is from Beauty and the Boutique- the the veil fix concealer is great, but it is quite expensive and doesn't last that long so I stupidly keep buying other ones instead. I have to say everything I buy from that site always turns out to be excellent. Its where discovered the Ordinary fractionated eye contour serum which has turned out over the years to be a wonder in a bottle for the under eyes- I'm 53. An under eye primer is prob what you need to stop the concealer caking. I've been using a Beauty Pie wonderglow face one but just under the eyes

I used to swear by the creamy radiant NARS one but recently found the Maybelline Fit Me one works even better at not settling - mainly as it is a bit waterier in texture which I think helps. A much nicer price than NARS, too!

Do you have a link @UnconditionalSurrender? Their website is unbelievably confusing! Blush

UnconditionalSurrender · 01/04/2022 13:26

I agree the website is a bit all over the place. I tend to watch the little videos on FB and then link through that. Heres the link to the concealer. Its not a v heavy concealer if that's your thing but it works for me. I definitely think if you get a decent primer it helps whatever you use not settle into creases. They did one I bought by Colour by Maya but its out of stock

Thank you!

I found the Primark under eye concealer great! Also Aldi's own when they have it in stock. Both good value for money

uncomfortablydumb53 · 01/04/2022 15:38

Maybelline Age rewind. I find it doesn't settle in the creases and covers dark circles really well

Akitamum · 02/04/2022 22:16

Thank you all, lots of options and price ranges which is really helpful. Tempted by the Trinny one but reviews are not so good. Might try a cheaper Maybelline one first
