Grey saggy skin....i'm 40

I've never had the best skin, always spot prone, some scars plus freckles and a bit of redness at times. I've always moisturised, I wear make up every day but I saw a photo of myself recently and I look awful.

My skin looks saggy and grey, definitely older than my years. I also look tired. I've lost some weight due to health issues so I think that's contributing to the sagginess.

What do I need to firm/plump up my skin?

I don't know about firming but I find the Sarah Chapman tinted SPF has made my skin look better than anything else ever. It's ruinously expensive so see if you can order a sample before you commit, but it makes my face look so much brighter and better.

I bought a little electric cleansing/exfoliating gadget from Aldi. Only £4 or something and their copy of the Foreo Luna. I use it daily with my facial wash (an Aldi one) and I find my skin looks a bit brighter and fresher.

Thank you @ChiefInspectorParker that's all very helpful.

You can improve the texture and colour through topical creams and serums as suggested by PP. Also a diet rich in carotenoids, sweet potatoes, red and orange fruit and veg, brocoli, and spinach, which did wonders for mine. (Google vege glow!) If you eat fish, salmon is good. If you don't a supplement called astaxanthin does a similar job.
Unfortunately for sagging, I've found nothing that really works other than treatments. Cheek filler lifts nose to mouth lines, filler in marionette lines supports the chin area well. Jowls respond well to thread lifts, but that's quite invasive and not for everyone. Some improvement is possible from home skin tightening devices too, but its very slight. Salon ones may be better, but I've never tried them.

I'm 42 and my skin has massively improved by using a gua sha every day for about 5 mins
