Anyone had it?. Age is catching up with me. I can see a loose neck and jowls emerging!

I've had it twice over a period of 5 years and I am going in for a third go next week so I obviously think it works!

I have it done to tighten my jaw line and eliminate 'necklace lines'. The effects are very slow to develop (about 6 months my first time) and very, subtle but I definitely look more defined in photos today (I am 61) than I did in hoots in my mid fifties. Probably about the same as I did on my fiftieth birthday.

I'm not sure how good it is for jowls though. I had a thread lift for those 3 and a half years ago and again, the effects were subtle but impressive. They are starting to reappear so I have scheduled another threadlift soon.

The downsides of ultherapy are that it's very expensive and bloody painful while it's being done. Take painkillers before hand I also bruise a LOT after having it so I haven't scheduled any social events for the week afterwards. The face that I'm going back for a third go despite all that shows that I think it's worth it!!

Oh thanks. Hmmm not sure I fancy the pain of the bruising! I bruise really easily! How was the thread lift? Much pain or bruising?

Not as painful as the ultherapy and only teeny bruises. But it was occasionally uncomfortable for a few days when I could feel the threads when I chewed. And I got an infection in one entry point which needed antibiotics but I guess that was just bad luck.
