I know exactly what i want:

the wallet needs to be black or red, softest leather, zip round long enough for cheque book.

the bag needs to be leather, grey or red, big enough to (just) fit an A4 thing in it, pockets but no dangley spangley nonsense...

hox i LOVE the red bag. I don't think the black wallet is plain enough!

there is loads of lovely stuff on the mandarina duck website, have a look (quite tempted by shiny bag myself!).

oh, i have a beige wallet of the style you want, from jigsaw last summer. they did have black then. not convinced it would fit a cheque book in though.
