I've head good things about Cerave and my son is at his wits end with bumpy spots that don't really come up and tiny pimples that are like little bumps then tiny heads. Fun to squeeze for a sporner but making him feel so fed up.
I've seen a nip and fan teenage set but also heard the Cerave is good. Any experience on spotty skin of your own or your children's? Thank you 🙏

My teens and spot prone DH use the Cerave smoothing and all thinks it’s great. I’m very lucky and not prone to spots and use the Cerave Gel Cleanser. IMO, it’s a great brand and products all work well.

I have used Nip and Fab I’m the past and can’t really remember how good it was, so I’m guessing not great or I’d have remembered.

I love CeraVe and have used it for years but the smoothing stuff really burned my skin.

I would suggest using the CeraVe wash for normal skin and use a clean face cloth daily.

There is a SA smoothing one I think that’s the one you mean, the SA stands for salicylic acid and is great for those sort of bumpy spots. I sometimes use it and don’t get any burning and find it nice to use but the La roche posay effaclar range is similar and possibly more gentle (maybe more ££ though). I would also highly recommend cosrx aha and bha toner.

Burnt my face off! Too strong for me.

I'd second La Roche Posay effeclar range.
