Hair perker-upper product?

Yes that is a technical term ;)

Years ago, I had a spray by Umberto Gianni that was totally ace. You squirted a bit onto dry hair the day after styling it, if it had gone a bit flat. Then they discontinued it and I've never been able to find anything like it. Everything I've tried adds weight to my hair and makes it even flatter, or just plain greasy.

I can get a similar result by walking in a certain kind of drizzle. I guess I'm looking for drizzle in a bottle! Anyone got any recommendations?

Dry shampoo?

Orangesquish · 03/03/2022 10:02

I've got dry shampoo but don't like it very much. I always feel like I need a hair wash after using it.

But thank you for the suggestion!

Seasalt spray?

Pinklemons52 · 03/03/2022 10:13

I use davines relaxing moisturising fluid - sort of perks it up on day two and not greasy at all.

I’ve not tried it myself but read about it on here the other day.
Hersheon’s Zhoosh Foam.
Sounds the sort of thing you’re after maybe?

You need a root lifting spray. I’ve not yet found the holy grail but Wow have a good one - flipping expensive though.

It sounds like a sea salt spray, my mum likes a lee Stafford one they sell in boots.

Water in one of those mister bottles you get for delicate houseplants!

WrinklesShminkles · 03/03/2022 11:41

How about water in an aerosol like the pharmacy skincare companies offer - eg, Avene, Eucerin?

Orangesquish · 03/03/2022 12:04

Water in a spray bottle could be the answer, why didn't I think of that?!? I'll google these suggestions, thanks.

Water will dry after about 10 mins though

Yes I've heard good things about the wow one too

This is true but somehow the slight extra volume caused by a walk on a drizzly day lasts even after the dampness has dried out.
