Teenagers / weddings

We have a family wedding coming up in July. I can dress myself but I have three teenage girls (13, 15, 18) and they don't know what to put on now they are past the ages of cute (matching. Oh I used to love them matching) party dresses! Ideally anything I buy I would love them to wear again - and the oldest two have stopped growing so that's good. Their natural style is leggings/hoodies/trainers or tiny weeny skirts and crop tops, neither of which are at all suitable. The youngest wears sweat pants and long-sleeved T-shirts at all times.
Suggestions gratefully received

Have you tried jumpsuits? They come in so many styles and can be really elegant for weddings/evening things. You can even get away with a pair of trainers under those if they’re long enough (depending on style, obvs). You can buy large and hem legs/get a trailer to add darts without removing fabric for youngest. You could choose plain colours and let them accessorise however they want so they feel like themselves. This seemed to work for my tween bridesmaids!

We haven't tried anything yet but that is a great suggestion! The middle one in particular would love that, I think.

Hello,
Teens at my church have worn plain t-shirts or short sleeve jumpers with midi skirts or in Winter plain, fine knit jumpers with skirts for formal occasions. I imagine especially wide culottes would work well. One of my favorite off beat bridal looks was a menswear inspired look with silky wide leg trousers worn with a matching button-down blouse. Which I imagine could work for bridesmaids too. Detachable collars might be a way to add personal taste to formal wear also. Of course, I wouldn't suggest white for the t-shirts as those skew too casual. Miss Patina might be a place to look or vintage reproduction shops like Houe of Foxy, Unique Vintage, Modcloth etc. for skirts and trousers. If the weddings a little informal and in a warm climate or during warm weather Run and Fly do very sweet Aline dresses in woven cotton with unusual prints like spaceships and dinosaurs. For shoes patent oxfords or embellished trainers like the Kate Spade collection from Keds would be a comfortable shoe option.
