Supportive bra 30FF boobs

I have ordered SO many new bras this year and none of them fit me right.

My previous "go to" was the Lauren bra from Boux Avenue. It has been discontinued. I have tried loads of different bras from Boux Avenue and none feel like they offer proper support.

I want something that is padded, hoiks my boobs up (bit in the lower side after 2 kids) & feels like my boobs are being kept in place. They just feel like they are jiggling around all day and I'm always hunching over because I don't feel like they are fully supported.

Please suggest anything good to me!! Thank you!

Panache Tango (not the plunge one)

penelopequiche · 25/02/2022 15:29

Another vote for Panache or look at Empreinte if you want to push the boat out!

AmberGer · 25/02/2022 15:34

Try pour moi, I find mine very comfortable and I'm 34hh

JeanBodel · 25/02/2022 15:34

Bravissimo are good.

I love Freya bras - very supportive.

LadyDanburysHat · 25/02/2022 15:42

There are plenty of good brands, a few of which have already been mentioned and I wear myself. I don't think padded bras give the same support. Is there are reason you need it to be padded?

Does anyone have bras in this size range with thinner straps? I hate that they’re so thick x

GoodnessTruthBeauty · 25/02/2022 15:43

Try Curvy Kate

The straps are wide for comfort due to the weight of large breasts. I hate them too, but have learned to live with them.

I like the Gossard Superboost, and would say it ticks all your boxes (32 F here, so sister sizes), but if you can get to a Bravissimo I would definitely reccommend a fitting session with them to see what works for you.

I would encourage you to arrange a proper fitting at https://www.rigbyandpeller.com/en-gb They have a really vast range to suit every kind of occasion.

Having someone who can fit the bra properly, adjust the straps etc makes such a difference. Enjoy !

R&P are absolutely brilliant!
GeneParmesanPrivateEye · 25/02/2022 19:35

I'm similar and Bravissimo Satine is a good fit on me.

GoodnessTruthBeauty · 25/02/2022 19:35

Another way bras are designed to support a bigger bust are when they are lots of pieces and seams which give a bra a lot of structure. This can be done really cleverly with different fabrics and lace. So if you want thinner straps look for a much more detailed in structure bra. It will probably be more expensive but worth it because they will look very pretty/sexy. R & B are another example of that.

Freya deco non-wired. Switched from underwired in pregnancy years ago and never looked back - I don’t think I’d even wear a wired one for an evening now! They’re nice and supportive too, with molded cups - perfect!

Takingabreakagain · 25/02/2022 20:07

DD and I are a similar size and we both find the Fantasie Memoir T-Shirt bra to be good. It is padded and gives good support. I'd recommend getting a fitting at Bravissimo as they are great at offering advice - different size boobs are different shapes so what fits well with one person might not be as good for someone else.

Bigcheesey · 25/02/2022 20:10

I’ve recommended this bra several times and although it’s not padded like you want it really is the best fitting and supportive bra I’ve ever found for my saggy 34H boobies.

Panache Envy at Bravissimo.

Repetitivebeats · 25/02/2022 20:15

Freya Idol is my go-to (32F) Very supportive, moulded cups so great under t-shirts etc

KatharinaRosalie · 25/02/2022 21:19

For hoiking up, go for padded half-cups. This one works for me www.ebay.co.uk/itm/402982062864?hash=item5dd39a4b10:g:zTsAAOSw5a1g6IyB

KatharinaRosalie · 25/02/2022 21:20

Oh and if there's a lot of jiggling, you might want to check if you need to go up in cup size.

Thurlow · 25/02/2022 21:22

Freya as well here.

Woahthehorsey · 25/02/2022 21:27

Sounds like it's too small to be honest. I'm a 30f and my boobs are tiny, and I mean really flat.

LemonViolet · 25/02/2022 21:38

I really rate a Rigby & Peller fitting if you have any reason to be in London. BUT be prepared for the level of spend. The bra I got from there was £90 and that was the lower end of their range, there were LOTS that were £130-150. If you’re looking for something around £30-40 then you’re better at Bravissimo, and once you know the brand, style and size that works for you head to brastop.com for discounts!

As it frustratingly turned out that £90 bra has been the best I’ve ever worn. Boobs feel light as air and can’t feel the straps or band at all. I now have 4 of them in different colours but managed to find the others elsewhere online “discounted” to around the £60 mark Confused which somehow feels like a bargain! Ridiculous amount to spend on boob holsters. But it makes a massive difference to my everyday comfort.

Thanks all!

I will look up the bras mentioned in the comments!

I have always worn padded bras and they tend to give my boobs a really good shape under tight clothing. I've never had an unpadded bra as I'm a bit worried that it won't have the same shape and might leave my boobs looking a bit saggy and without any volume. I've never tried one so I could be completely wrong!

Also, agreed that I am probably wearing the wrong size and could do with getting measured. I was a 30F before having my second child and I keep trying to buy the same size when I'm clearly not the same size!! I just want a really supportive bra so o feel like I can walk around with my boobs staying in place!!
