Please help me MN. I'm going on three day-hike with 7 others - a mixed group. We'll be crossing rivers and expected to swim then walk, swim then walk. I've got cellulite on my thighs and loose skin around my knees, and am panicking at being expected to whip off my shorts for a bikini below. I'm trying to find long boardshorts, but for women. Ones I can walk in after I've swum in them. Any suggestions for when I can look ? I'd like to buy online.

TIA !

I've just ordered 2 pairs of swim shorts/board shorts, one from Decathalon and one from Superdry. Perfect for what you need.

When I paddle board in the sea I just wear normal sports leggings, they dry relatively quickly and are comfortable to walk in afterwards.

Alternatively you could get a knee suit (not the competitive ones which are £££) but basically a cossie with legs down to just above the knee and have some elastic to keep them in place. Look at the Maru website.

I bought swim leggings from Amazon. They come down just below my knees. I wear them to teach swimming. I’m a 16 and they fit well.

Walking in wet shorts with any flex will give you hideous chafing. I definitely think you need something v close to the skin. Triathlon suit type thing (but that will be too hot)
