So far, so good.

But how best to get over that in-betweeny stage stylishly? I'm not really alice-band material. Am I? I've had a fringe for 15 years, so I don't really know what to do with my hair without one.

Not fussed about style atm - more fussed that I'm so bunged up I can't taste anything [sob] Although my clothes are getting looser by the hour. It's amazing how you just don't get hungry when there's no point eating anything because you can't taste it.

sweep it to the side, with side parting

Put in style you like and then use xtra strong gel - it's a fag but it does work.

I used to sweep mine to the side, and then if it was pissing me orf, I would clip it with a nice grip

But then I got fringe bcak within a year aas the skin on my forehead is frightening, and it covers it up

Maybe layer one side so it is more continuous, iyswim...cut fringe at an angle so it is layered a bit too, then it will blend in with that side of your hair.

Yes, have got side parting(ish) atm - centre parting makes me look like 1960s hippie. Not in a good way. (Is there a good way?!)

I've just grown my fringe out from a fairly severe bob fringe. Have found that drying it while brushing it under with a firm grip , really helps to keep it off my face. When it's newly washed it's a bit of a pain as it's clean and slippery, but after a couple of days is much better.

I am growing mine out at the moment have no idea why I suddenly decided to grow it (just before Christmas) - it will be the first time ever in my 40 something existence that I have not had a fringe.

If I am going out I sort of dry it and straigten it so it is in a slick side parting. Seems to look OK.

But round the house I have it clipped back like a five year old girl [luckily only me and the DSs to see it.

Still not 100 % sure about having my forehead on display - it's not really that wrinkled but still feels weird.
