Morpheus 8 would you recommend it?

Have been considering Morpheus 8 after seeing a friend who had two sessions and looked pretty good from it. But I’m nervous as I’ve been doing some research and there are quite a few negative reviews.

If you’ve had it/considered it please can you give me any words of advice? I’m 50 years old, skin is in an ok condition but I do have a fair bit of sun damage from many years ago when sunbathing was popular Blush

I had 2 sessions and would not recommend it, based on both the pain levels and the results. Despite the anaesthetic cream I found it extremely painful. So much so that with the second round I left the surgery with burst blood vessels in one eye from the agony. I have a moderate pain threshold - this was just too much. Bear in mind, it's loads of tiny needles, plus radiofrequency, plus electricity. I left feeling I had subjected myself to torture. I'm not kidding.

It was carried out by a Dr, so I'm sure it wasn't just the execution - I would honestly rather waiting a few more years and having a face lift than suffer that again.

I have had facial IPL and something else called Ultraformer, both are quite zappy - the pain level is much lower. The IPL is fantastic for overall tone and texture. Ultraformer is meant to help with elasticity and jowls but honestly I can't really put my finger on any improvement.

From here on in, I'm sticking with fillers every couple of years and then a facelift when I really need it. (I'm mid 40's)

Thank you for that BlackSwan really appreciate your comments which reconfirm what I’ve researched.

I had fillers for the first time about a year ago and came away with pretty bad bruising. I don’t think it was down to the practitioner but more down to my skin and it’s liability to bruising. That’s partly why I’m rather wary of Morpheus 8.

Grateful if anyone has any other views - any positive ones?

I’ve had it but only one session to be fair. It was ok, didn’t hurt although my face was very red. Seemed to have a slight effect. I’d put your money into a foreo bear instead
