What's the dress code or wha sort of outfits do you wear?
Is it with smart clothes or smart casual? Is it for winter or for all seasons?

I'd go for a flattish leather lace up shoe like a derby or brogue, although I tend to wear flattish chelsea boots (smart casual, usually with a dress or short skirt)

M&S has some first class leather loafers available at the moment. I can totally assure you they are comfortable. The patent heeled ones are a nod to Gucci. They are well priced. Don’t buy suede if you are concerned about rain.

They also have brogues and chunkier heeled pumps. All would work

I think it's quite relaxed in terms of what to wear but I want to look smart!

Must go with black high waisted tailored trousers, blouse and blazer ☺️

Loafers are fine for that look. Or try pumps with a low heel. LK Bennett have lots of lower heel styles but they come at a price!

Clarks Hamble Oak.

Always smart but very comfy

I have found loafers are working pretty well with most things.

Noone is wearing heels anymore at my work I notice. I quite often wear trainers (black leather) if I don't have any meetings

Some shoe makers will be selling off lots of shoes then. There’s plenty about. I think lower heels are everywhere. Or heeled loafers. It would be really boring if women just wear shoes that look like male shoes - loafers and brogues. My DDs prefer feminine styles with skirts/dresses.

Another vote for M&S from me. They do half sizes a well, which is perfect for me. I'm sure the quality is as good as Clarks.
