I'm heading in a city break - ha ha - which will involve lots of walking and sightseeing.

For the day im going to wear black leggings which is a whole new thing for me - discovered in lockdown and wfh. Figure they'll be much comfier than jeans for during the day (I'll be a bit smarter at nights....maybe)

So I fancy a pair of dark/black trainers to go with. What do you recommend. I was goi g to look at Nike as a kick off but not been trainer shopping for years so I know there will be so much more on offer, just not sure where to look. Obvs they need to be comfy but also look good and not old laddish/ orthopedic etc!!

Ooh, they look good and what I had in mind. I'll need to fake tan my ankles!

I'm sorry, I think black trainers almost always look like orthopaedic shoes... sorry, I'll probably get really told off for this!

How about a bright-coloured trainer with your black leggings? Depending on your coat colour, it could be a funky pop of colour

I wear my Stan smiths constantly to the extent I bought another pair on offer so i have a less worn pair too! The upper is leather (or vegan if you get the prime green version) so they are more waterproof than the breathable types, although not as lightweight. They are probably the comfiest trainers I've ever had.

Linked to the kids ones because they're cheaper and I have small feet but the adults version are the same
