Hello, I've recently given up on Skin+Me as the formula was s simply not working (3rd try) and each time my skin peels, gets super-sensitive etc.

Does anyone have any recommendations for sensitive, acne-prone and VV dehydrated skin?

I've tried simplifying my routine right down to cleanser, Paula's choice SA and then average hydrating lotion but something is still irritating and I'm getting one or two spots on cheeks and forehead which is not usual for me.

Cerave or Cetaphil cleansers.

If you are acne prone then I would ask the GP for Epiduo cream (mix of benzoyl peroxide and a retinoid). However if one or two spots is not usual for you then I wouldn’t say you are acne prone?

Thank you, I'll definitely look into that cream you mentioned. I should have clarified that I usually get hormonal acne on chin but my skin has gone from being quite well behaved to dehydrated, red, large pores etc. I've attached a photo of current cheek spot situation, this is highly unusual for me .

Keep it simple. The cleansers suggested are fine, as are soap and water. once the irritation has gone. Use a basic moisturiser like Simple, Boots or Superdrug own brand. Waitrose Pure is nice.

Ask the GP for acne treatment

Ah I see. Yes I would say try Epiduo for the spots and give the Skin + Me a break, at least for a while. The cleansers I mentioned are gentle and non drying.
