Aliaxin Hyaluronic acid filler - I had it yesterday

For sagging cheeks and jowls and I have to say it's subtle but effective.
I have to go back in a couple of weeks to see if I need more once it's settled and I think I will in my jowls.

I'm not sure though does it also get better and the results improve once it's settled or is the initial result THE result as it were?
It looks better today than it did yesterday once it was first done

Results will change over the next 2 weeks. Swelling will reduce (many people miss the swelling). But everything will smooth out.

It does depend where was injected. If fine lines were started, I find the improve dramatically after 2 weeks. (the filler attracts water which plumps everything out!)

Thanks for sharing OP. Why did you go for this particular filler?

Delatron · 30/01/2022 20:58

Ooh I’ve not heard of this. I see it’s from the makers of Profhilo. So it’s different to a normal filler?
I had viscoderm which is also from the same company and didn’t like the results. I was left with lots of little bumps for months. I quite like profhilo but feel I need something more. What kind of results did they say to expect?

@Jinglebellsoncake thank you for that info. The swelling is already going down (I'm already missing it!) my face looks so much better but it's hard to pin down why and nobody would know I've had anything done at all. It's given me structure to my face and looks lifted.
I am definitely going to have more put in when I go back in a couple of weeks.
@Thatswhatmamasaid I didn't actually go for this. I wanted Radiesse for my sagging cheeks and jowls but the Dr said this would be better and that it was important to be careful around the jowl because too much filler could make it look masculine and heavy.
@Delatron I'm sorry Viscoderm hasn't worked out for you, I actually had my eye on that next for a general boost but the little bumps sound awful, have they gone now?
To be honest the Dr didn't say much about the results (I had about 100 Covid related forms to fill in when I arrived and was expecting Radiesse so forgot to ask about this) Everything just seems to be smoothing out. I had one treatment of Profile a couple of years ago which did nothing and I didn't make it back for my second treatment and now wish I had

Thanks @alwaysontheloo they lasted a good few months and I can still see them now but probably not noticeable to others. I had it done in September! So I’m annoyed. I think it may have been practitioner error, I think if you inject too much then the little bumps last longer. I can’t risk having it again. I’ve seen no improvement and my skin looked worse for months! I had high hopes that it could be an alternative to Botox around the eyes and forehead but sadly not for me!

Your filler sounds lovely though. I have my eye on it!
