Help! My skin is so sore

A combination of Covid/various sickness bugs/cold weather and lack of fresh air has left my skin feeling very sore and dry. It's also sensitive so I can't use harsh products.

I'm looking to buy a lovely product to soothe it and help it out. I'm thinking maybe a nice face mask or cream. I'm happy for something that can be used on a daily basis or weekly.

Any recommendations? Bonus points if i can get it from John Lewis.

I'm a fan of Cicaplast too. It helps my neck creases, which get sweaty and irritated in winter (ewww). I was reminded by this thread that I should stock up and found a good price (£10.49 for 100ml) at Superdrug. Then I got lured into the £10 off £50 spend and have ordered the Nadine Baggott Winter Skin collection for £20, which contains a retinol product but also several pr she says are very calming and protective. She's done a youtube video about it. So - haven't tried the set myself but optimistic.

I like to try to be as natural as possible.
This may not suit you if you’ve not got dry (my skin drinks oil!) skin.
I use organic coconut oil.
I sometimes use it plain, or I mix a couple of drops of a favourite essential oil to it.
I always use it plain for intimate areas… love using it there, as it leaves that area soft, comfortable and ready for action iyswim… Lol!
Any residue oil (with or without eo) I like to massage into my hair (it’s long) ends, and it seems to prevent split ends.
I’m almost into my seventies, and amazingly, I’ve had compliments (via my partner) from women in their 20’s,30’ and later about my youthful look.
No, that wasn’t a brag, I’m just trying to point out that maybe you don’t have to use expensive “products” that may have nasty ingredients.
Another upside of coconut oil is, that you can cook with it.
A tablespoon in the actifry, makes awesome roasties and chips, as a very small example.

I have grumpy and over sensitive skin and I swear by Avene Toleraine and La Roch Posay Tolerance ranges. Both available from Boots. Often 3 for 2.

@Laquila sorry I’ve not tried that LRP one so I can’t say how it compares, I’ve tried one of the LRP toleraine moisturisers and the cosrx is much thicker but honestly if you have found one you really like it might be worth sticking with it? Not sure how the prices compare either? I was in boots yesterday and was a bit shocked at some of the LRP prices
