Big Knickers - high waisted and a bit of support but not too much

John Lewis have done something awful to the knickers I used to buy - they now have as much give as an iron corset. Has anyone found a decent pair of high waisted knickers that have a bit of support but also a bit of give? I need to replenish my stock and can't find anything suitable.

I don't know if these won't have enough support, but I really rate Molke pants. I wear their high waist briefs in a size down and find them really great. Also love that they are cotton and not sweaty polyester!

Uniqlo do fab high waist cotton & lace... Not super supportive but slightly smoothing

Innersy (on Amazon).
Nice thick material, wash well and really comfortable.

Thank you - Uniqlo aren't a high enough waist for me but the TU ones look worth a try - I have a big Sainsburys nearby so I'll see if they have any in store.

The TU ones are the only pants I ever wear.

Wraparound from Amazon. I bought them after seeing them recommended on mumsnet and they’re high waisted gentle support no muffin top.

Wirapa bloody autocorrect.

M&S full briefs are so comfy.

catfunk · 23/01/2022 10:07

M&S full briefs - they do a few different fabrics , I get the microfibre no vpl ones - they're not support pants but legs say I can see a huge difference under outfits when I'm wearing them

Primark do a pack of 3 (on a little hanger) for a fiver! Black or nude. Bit stretchy and a full brief! And they stay black!

CorrBlimeyGG · 23/01/2022 10:11

I have the normal Tu full pants (£5 for five pairs!) or the M&S microfibre ones (around £12 a pack). They don't have support but they give a smooth line, nothing cutting in anywhere.

londonmummy1966 · 23/01/2022 17:20

Thanks for the recommendations - I've tried the M&S ones and they aren't quite high enough waisted for me. I've ordered a couple of pairs of Abmra high waists as they are really high waisted and will see how I go with them.

Sloggy.

Thought I'd update and say that the Ambra high waists are great and really comfy. I also managed to stock up on them at TK Maxx this week so really pleased.
