Where should I look for a new coat in the sales?

I'm going sale shopping tomorrow and want to buy a new winter coat.
I have a black parka type coat that I use for work but I'd just like something a bit smarter, preferably a fairly classic style that will last for years.
Just wondered if any mumsnetters have seen any coat bargains in the sales.
