at 44 yrs i don't have a problem so much with wrinkles as the fact that i'm starting to look gaunt around the eyes with thinner skin that looks darker - i feel either address the problem now or it's now or never!

But what can i do? any ideas? please?

For a quick fix, I think Benefits' Lemonaid and Eyecon are good.

DingDongTheNitsHaveGone · 26/12/2007 12:57

is there anything that can plump out the skin around the eye area a bit though?
thanks meglet

benefit realness of concealness is a great product, you get something to reduce puffiness, the concealer and lemonaid.

it really does work

Apart from putting on weight I think only collagen injections can plump out the skin.
Agree with kerrysnorks that sleep is good too.

janmoomoo · 26/12/2007 23:29

I suffer with this big time! Have tried loads of stuff. Estee Lauder night repair cream very good for keeping hydrated and YSL Touche Eclat for concealing. Benefit stuff too yellow IMHO. Sleep does also make big difference unfortunately!

Strivectin

ArcticRoll · 05/01/2008 14:29

paulaplumpbottom-is the Strivectin worth splashing out on then?
Have been tempted as have awful shadows but reluctant to buy in case was waste of money.

paulaplumpbottom · 05/01/2008 14:38

Oh yes, and that tube last forever. i've been using the same tube for a year and a half. you use very little

ArcticRoll · 05/01/2008 14:43

Ok I'll give it a go.

DingDongTheNitsHaveGone · 05/01/2008 15:39

have just woken up from my long ZZZ and problem still there - where do I get the Strivectin stuff from? Pref. the U.S. cos the exchange rate is so good... but the first supplier I googled wanted around $50 for shipping - that can't be right!!

space nk site have the stuff for dark circles at £95

Ozymandius · 05/01/2008 18:43

The shadows are usually hollows, not discoloured skin so creams are useless, and only filler injected will make a real difference.

Ozymandius · 05/01/2008 18:43

A light reflecting concealer is your best bet otherwise.

DingDongTheNitsHaveGone · 05/01/2008 19:07

oh dear. nothing to plump the area out except injections then?
i already use touche eclat.
