Tear trough filler

Anyone else had this?

I had tear trough filler a few days ago and the difference is immense. I have shit genetics which left me with very hollow under eyes since birth, so the filler has really made a change to my face without looking overdone!

Just wondering how long it has lasted for others and what, if any, complications you had?

Inspired by OP’s results, I hit the bullet and just had mine done. Results are instantly amazing as my eyes are deep set. Had a bit of Botox around my eyes too. There’s a bit of swelling but Dr assures me it’s a great result.

Ooh I love tear trough (not a fan of fillers anywhere else though!)

Had them done a year and a half done and they’ve just worn off. I kept looking in the mirror thinking wtf has happened to my eyes, why are they all crepey all of a sudden. Then realised.

Off for more in Feb and can’t wait to look less tired.

@Milomonster sorry for late responses, I can see you have had yours done! Glad you love the result. I can’t really feel the filler so definitely doesn’t feel hard. I am leaning towards the 2nd treatment right now - I am obsessed with how my tear trough looked like a couple of days after treatment and think those results may be achievable!

@Anewdress sorry I can’t remember which filler was used. My filler doesn’t bulge or affect smiling. It’s like he just erased the tear trough crease. I think with the right filler, you can have a better experience. I will PM you the website of my practitioner so maybe you can email them and ask which would help even if you go to another clinic

@Wagsandclaws wow I love your results! You look radiant

@Delatron do you know which filler you had?

christingle2 · 18/01/2022 17:38

@LynetteScavo honestly it’s not that bad. The initial injection is in your cheek, they use a cannula to reach the tear trough area. Probably quite similar to how cheek filler is? It’s not next to your eyes Smile

@christingle2 thanks for your update! Let us know if you have the second one.

@Anewdress I had Redensity 2. Supposed to last a year.

I have to say it was painful when the cannula went in - I could feel it hitting my bone. Pain didn’t last long though.

Delatron · 18/01/2022 17:54

@Anewdress I’m sorry I don’t know which it was. I should have asked at the time. I went to Dr Ellie Sateei. So others may know which filler she uses as I know others on here go to her. Whilst her work was fine, I didn’t like her receptionists and there was no follow up care so I’m trying someone else next time.

I’ll report back!

@Rosiepeta

I'd love some details please, I'm also in South Wales. Love the idea of trying it but very nervous!
I'm in South Wales. If you could send the drs details that would be great. I have had this procedure done and to be honest did not realise how close to the eye the needle actually went. So next time would consider spending more to ensure they are properly trained!
