What are you wearing / buying?

I would like to start dressing more stylishly but tend to shop at cheaper places.

I've just bought this and wore it on a Christmas night out with sucky in pants and had lots of compliments

About two years ago I was surprised how much dresses of that shape suited me. I used to manage to get bargains from Walis in Outlet, but they've never reopened since Lockdown. I look through, SB, DP Joe Browns, Roman, the Very and usually Google will make other suggestions. I always look through Newlook/River and the high street as well. You just have to put the time in.

Most of my clothes are from the charity shop! Sea salt, fat face, white stuff mostly.

I'm a size 16 at the moment, a lot of my casual stuff is from EMP but I really rate DP for dresses, there is a green one I'm eyeing up with a v neck and puff sleeves. As a pear shape its a very flattering style.

I'm busty with a big belly so I do struggle with lots of dresses.

I'd love one like the red one I posted but v neck

Have a look at Nobody's child, they are stocked at M&S now too. I think they have some nice dresses but the quality can be a bit hit and miss. With M&S returns are fairly easy.

Try Finery, especially in the sale - use their website, Roman Originals - some real gems on there and they know their customers, so cut to flatter, Tu - always worth a look, George at ASDA - again, worth a look, Lands End - sale for basics and they always have big discount codes, Mango - they have big sizes and good sales, rolling discounts

Vinted, charity and secondhand shops for me, plus end-of-sales for quality brands, when they have gone to 60% or more off the original price. I have a wardrobe full of 'good' brands (Jigsaw, Hobbs, Boden etc), hardly any of it cost me more than £50, and quality means cost-for-wear is excellent.

(Must admit, though, I'm a bit of a clothes obsessive, so checking sales and secondhand sites is a pleasurable hobby I can spend hours on...)

I'm a 16, 14 sometimes but I'm also tall 6ft so Dorothy Perkins is good for jeans and Next because I need longer length.

I buy a lot from H &M but mot trousers or jeans because they don't do longer length. I like Oasis as well

Cheapskate size 18 here. I tend to buy 2nd hand from eBay so I can get decent stuff for a bit less.

I did, however buy two dresses from Dorothy Perkins for Christmas and was very impressed at how they fitted and suited me.
