Any skin experts/fellow hirsute women out there?

I've tried many things to rid the abundance of face fuzz I have, trimming, waxing, hair removal cream, bleaching etc. (I know many of these aren't recommended) but everything I do when it starts growing back I get terrible acne/blocked pores/ingrown hairs on my jawline no matter what I do. Does anyone know how to get rid of the fuzz while also not having to have spots when its growing back? The only thing I haven't tried is threading? (I know body hair on women is normal, I'm not looking to be told to leave it alone and accept it, I'm looking for a way to deal with it and not feel self conscious)

Have you tried s glycolic cleanser. My sister swears by it, she used to really suffer with ingrown hairs no matter what hair removal methods she tried.

I pluck and have no issues. I've also got a lumea but I just cba to use it.

I have my fuzz professionally removed by threading every three weeks and I have no skin reaction. Take paracetamols before the procedure!

Buy an IPL machine. I had a smooth skin gold but the more often recommended ones are Phillips Lumea.

I used it approximately 5 or 6 times several years ago and haven’t had to shave wax or pluck since! I wasted so much of my life worrying about hair, facial, legs, pubes sticking out of my swimming costume etc and now I literally don’t give it a second thought.

There’s no regrowth worries either as the hair needs to be shaved before you zap it, so you can just keep shaving in between times (I did it once a month, for about 3 months then every couple of weeks after that I think)

Every now and again I give my face a quick zap just in case there’s any that I haven’t noticed! I do get the odd tingle and the smell of burning hair Envy so I assume it’s catching the odd one below the surface.

Honestly it’s the best £250 I’ve ever spent and more than made up for by the time and money I don’t have to spend on products.

I’d like to know how hairy celebs deal with hairy faces?
Presumably they have to be pretty smooth for red carpet make up/ cover shoots etc . Make up looks flawless on smooth skin and I can’t imagine they’re using veet strips and tweezers. Is it just constant laser sessions I wonder ?
