Office wear pre pandemic - what are you doing with it?

So pre pandemic I worked in an office 4 days a week. Smart casual, local government office, skirt/trousers and top kind of place rather than suits. I struggle to buy clothes (6ft) so have a big stash of capri trousers, smart jumpers and long sleeve shirts that I won’t wear while wfh but also wouldn’t get rid of as I would struggle to replace. I also have some unloved/horrible polyester type tops that I wore in the summer - brought as I couldn’t find anything else that fit well.
All of this is now taking loads of room up. I’ve been told in the future I’ll be going to the office to “collaborate” only, perhaps one day a month, perhaps 2.
When I wfh I wear joggers/tshirts/hoodies. No way would I dress up to wfh, I’m a scruff bag at heartBlush
Is anyone in the same position? What are you doing with the clothes? I’m thinking that I should get rid of what I don’t like and replace with a couple of staples (probably tops), but given that I’ve not actually been to the office since March 20, is it a bit premature?

I’m 5ft11 and when I’m in the office I tend to wear dresses and skirt top combos. I got loads of printed shirt dresses from Very. I’ve also got dresses from warehouse, oasis, next all in the next sale. I have some satin midi skirts that I pair with rollnecks in winter and then dresser style T-shirts in summer. Some of the dresser T-shirts are things like wrap tops or peplum mostly lipsy. Also have a some striped shirts to pair with my skirts.

We went ‘dress for your day’ about 6 months before COVID hit. I have dust bagged up all my suits and lovely work dresses on the basis that I don’t know where I’ll work next and they still fit. Equally all my work shoes are being checked every 6 months or so to ensure they stay in good nick. I’m 5’10” so feel your pain on finding stuff that fits.

I'm keeping the stuff I still like as I'm still really unsure how much time I'm likely to spend in the office in future (thinking ahead to if I change jobs/employers etc as well). It's getting very little use at the moment though so it's all in storage boxes under the bed.

Anything which is a bit meh or doesn't fit, I am selling on vinted. I've found it great and really easy to use.

Thanks @Bellex you’ve named a couple of places that I’ve not tried for tops. I might see if I can get a couple more summer/spring basics for tops and then charity shop the ones I don’t like anymore.
@DelurkingAJ, good point about potentially needing them for a future employer. I’ve read so much about decluttering if things aren’t worn in a year, but some of these items are from Long Tall Sally before they got taken over (so good quality) and there’s no way I’d be able to replace again.

Funny enough I cleared my wardrobe out this morning of many of my pre-covid office clothes and took to the charity shop. I know I won’t wear them again and will just replace once I know what it is exactly it is that I need and want!

I've kept the basics of my pre pandemic work wardrobe and then vacuum packed them and stuck them at the back of wardrobe.

The rest has been donated to charity.

I was shocked at how little space it took up once vacuum packed! I will reassess in a year or so.
