Help me style bootcut jeans

I bought some new bootcut jeans - first move away from skinny.

I love the shape and they fit really well but so different from skinny that I’m looking for some styling tips. Also as they are quite snug I’m a bit conscious about wearing them with anything tucked in but at the same time, anything long is a waste of the shape in a way. On the other hand, the shape and fit are quite flattering on the bum.

Also I’m more of a flat shoes person. I have trainers but what would work for a smarter look?

Kitten heeled suede boots & a fitted sweater 😊

I love my boot cuts , I wear them with suede boots or plimsoll type trainers , vest top with either a cardigan or biker jacket . Roll neck fitted jumper, v neck fine knits , shirts with grandad collars , Zara do some nice silky shirts which look nice with them too .

Thanks. The photo is definitely more glamourising that I am. Funny how a change in jean shape brings about such a confidence crisis.

Still worried anything fitted on top will make it look like I’m trying to be one of Charlie’s Angels

I have long bootcut indigo jeans and I did a very large fold in the summer upwards to wear with trainers. It was desperation really as they were my only jeans at the time but someone said they looked good.

Totally fine with flats as long as they aren't dragging on the ground 90s style! And yes I love mine too, but I do find them easier to style in the spring/summer when I can wear them with some cool 70s-style wedge-things which just seem to work better.
