Curling tongs advice

I’m looking for curling tongs that can be used on dry hair. It’s for a pre-teen so nothing too tricky to hold without getting burned, and something that will produce fairly curly curls on long thick hair. Do they exist?

I use a bubble wand & find it easy & lasts although my hair is naturally wavy.

I can't vouch for it yet, because it's just arrived, but I bought this www.amazon.co.uk/TRESemme-Defined-Curls-Curling-Tong/dp/B010FPGT2W/ref=mp_s_a_1_69?rdc=1&keywords=TRESemme&tag=mumsnetforu03-21&qid=1640871474&sr=8-69 which says it can be used on dry hair.

Thanks - that looks like it might not be ideal for long hair from the reviews. Although I imagine it might not massively matter for £10!

Are all bubble wands more or less the same?

I've never got on with curling tongs as I find them too fiddly, I use my GHDs to curl my hair it's just so quick and easy, I imagine there are cheaper hair straigteners that could achieve the same results.
