I can't see why not.

KirstenBlest · 22/12/2021 13:44

You might find it makes you look like a newborn

TheCreamCaker · 22/12/2021 13:45

No, you need to wait at least 31 years before using it

Jobseeker19 · 22/12/2021 13:45

It has a strange pink tint and was worried that it might be too heavy and cause acne. That's why I was asking.

I use that when I'm at my mum's. It's a nice cream, gives a rosey glow.

Sp1ke3 · 22/12/2021 13:50

You will instantly become a 60 year old woman but otherwise no ill effects.

KirstenBlest · 22/12/2021 13:54

You'll suddenly start worrying that your clothes are far too young for you, or start eyeing up granny clothes.

Maybe you'll dye your hair and start wearing purple.

I'd exercise caution OP.

KirstenBlest · 22/12/2021 13:56

Don't forget, you'll instantly put on 2 st of middle-age spread so order some elasticated waist trousers.

Fluffycloudland77 · 22/12/2021 13:57

It might be a bit rich for your skin. Take it back if you can.

I’ve done the same in Aldi but I used it up on my neck and for under £2 it wasn’t a disaster.

Floisme · 22/12/2021 14:55

I see the good jokes are already taken so I won't labour them Grin

I do get what you mean - my skin is very different at 65 to when I was 29 and that cream might be a bit rich and heavy for you. But, if you can't return it, a tiny bit dotted around your face might do the trick. Or try it on hands and feet.

PAFMO · 22/12/2021 14:59

It's not got any actives in it so it's just a rich moisturizer. Lots of glycerine, squalane etc.
The only thing, as fluffy says, is unless you have quite dry skin, it might be too rich.

Mrsjayy · 22/12/2021 15:02

Ah all the good jokes are taken 😃 try it if you don't like it use it as a handcream as suggested

2bazookas · 22/12/2021 15:05

No No No. It will turn your hair white and make your boobs sag.

TrueGrit54 · 22/12/2021 15:08

You might find it a bit rich, maybe try using it on drier areas (neck, area above bust, knees, elbows) or mix it with a simple cheap moisturiser so it’s less rich.

VanCleefArpels · 22/12/2021 16:19

No Because the cream knows how old each user is. Just like neck creams know if you use them on your legs.

JustLikeaJingleBell · 22/12/2021 16:50

It probably will be a bit rich for your skin.

Just take it back and get a refund.

JustLikeaJingleBell · 22/12/2021 16:51

If it's already been opened and it does cause acne or doesn't agree with your skin then give those reasons and you should also get a refund

JMAngel1 · 23/12/2021 07:42

It would be fine but that cream is awful! The rosey tint just made me look sunburned - it's not that rich honestly. If it suits your colouring, go for it.

Jobseeker19 · 23/12/2021 07:45

Thanks for the replies. I wore it and it did leave a nice glow but I think I will mix it as I dont want it rubbing off on my mask when I'm out.

Why do they have different ages for creams if it makes no difference?

The ‘ages’ thing is for marketing, not science. So they can say they’ve got a specialist product and market to it to a niche. In reality, creams marketed at ‘mature skin’ are usually richer, so good if you’ve got dry or dehydrated skin of any age. ‘Teen’ ranges are usually better for oily or combo skin, again of any age but can sometimes be massively heavy on the astringent ingredients so can make you more oily in some cases!
borntobequiet · 23/12/2021 08:03

I’m in my sixties and find rich, heavy creams uncomfortable and irritating. If I use a moisturiser at all it’s a light one. HRT has been the best thing for my skin (and prevents saggy boobs as well).

SpiderFluff · 23/12/2021 08:30

Give it a go but it might be quite heavy

BusterGonad · 24/12/2021 14:40

It looks lovely, I'd use it (43).
