Plainish, hard-wearing but not too thick jumper

So ... DD has given me my Xmas quest, which is to find her a jumper similar to the type she has several of and likes, but which are harder wearing especially at the elbows. So perhaps a synthetic or blend rather than fine wool. Woolovers had lambswool, I'm not sure if that would be any harder wearing than the merino/cashmere mix of the ones she has.

This is the sort of style she wants, Navy or dark green crew neck. She's short so not big floppy woollies. Not too thick.

Any ideas please? (Online only)

Thanks!

I think lambswool is harder wearing, but it might also be a little scratchy...

There was another poster just the other day looking for a Ralph Lauren jumper just like this and there were loads of suggestions, let me see if I can find it for you!

I've noticed a lot of sweaters on the racks are made from recycled plastic! Yes, and they are beautifully soft and I should imagine hard wearing. Primark, New Look - I would certainly buy one if I needed a new sweater. Good colours too.

I've got this Seasalt jumper and love it:
