Tired eyes and bags…any miracle creams you can recommend please

I’m currently undergoing chemotherapy for breast cancer. Unfortunately my diagnosis has led to an increase in my anxiety levels and I haven’t slept for more than 2 hours at a at a time for 5 weeks now. I’ve never been a good sleeper but this is the worst it’s ever been 😕

I know there’s more important things to worry about (and I do!!) but the effect the lack of sleep is having is upsetting me. I have huge under-eye bags. Is there anything anyone can recommend that would help this? I’m sure once things get into a more even keel my sleep will improve but I’m looking for a quick fix to address something that’s just making everything even more grim at the moment. Any advice very gratefully received…

TIA.

Those under eye gel patches are nice and refreshing, you can put them in the fridge too.

Thanks @CloudyStorms I’ve got some of those and do use them, but I was hoping there is some kind of miracle in a tube I could slather on to make me feel a little bit better 🙂 thank you for replying though

Following with interest… in similar situation but with steroids counteracting cancer treatment so wide awake every night and have eye bags the size of shipping containers…. Magical cream…where are you?

Sorry you’re going through this. Something I’ve been recommended on here and used in the past is cream for piles. So anusol or germaloids. It brings the swelling down considerably. I wore it at night.

The only thing I have found to work on dark circles is concealer with a colour corrector.
And CloudyStorms said for puffiness.

Clinique moisture surge 100 hrs is really good. I suspect eye creams are a hoax: a good moisturiser will do the trick just as well.
Try a hyalauronic acid serum under it for extra oomph.

A combination of genes (thanks dad!) and hay fever means I’m baggier around the eye area than I’d like. Skin is also sensitive.

This: www.cerave.com/skincare/moisturizers/eye-repair-cream

And this www.rimmellondon.com/en-gb/face/concealers/lasting-radiance-concealer

Both seem to help a bit.

Good luck with your treatment x

Thanks for the suggestions everyone.

@PuppyFeet sorry you’re going through this, I have a weekly combination chemo which means steroids every 3 weeks. It’s utterly rubbish isn’t it.

I’ll have browse online later and order a cream and a concealer I think. I know it seems a silly thing to be concerned over, when I look at the bigger picture, but I’m
So bloody miserable at the moment, and looking in the mirror just makes everything even worse.

Thank you all x
