Skincare for 15 year old

My daughter (14) has asked for some skincare products for Christmas - I think she wants to develop a skin I care routine. I want to stick to Boots until I can see that she keeps it up and also because I’m not in the Uk so this is the only UK type place I have access to. Does anyone have any advice as to what I could buy - and in what order she should use the products please?

Sorry- I didnt mean to confuse… She’s turning 15 in early December.

Cerave is popular with my teen DDs.

What is her skin like? My teenager uses Avene cleanance cleanser and La Roche Posay moisturiser but she has skin that breaks out with spots occasionally and both items are quite mild.

She’s quite freckly with pale skin. She tends to get spots around the top of the nose area between the brows and a couple on the chin, but so far, her skin is pretty good overall.
Will have a look at the brands you both suggest. 🙏 Thank you.

I've recently bought my teen a Magnitone brush. It's worked great on the blackheads and pores around her nose. She just uses it with her usual cleanser. Loads of deals on them in the Black Friday sales.

The boots ingredients range is good, she can learn what different ingredients do etc and what works for her. Also some boots stock cosrx which is great, I recommend the aha bha toner (my teen swears by this) and if spots are occasional grab some spot patches these draw out the gunk and crucially stop any picking.

I’d focus less on cleansers etc just now and get her in 5he habit of applying sunblock every day and a mild retinol overnight.

If she starts that now she’ll always have lovely skin.

All my cleansers etc are very cheap but they work.

Thank you! Just had a look at the Magnitone brush. Might get two so I can use one on my own skin! Thanks so much everyone for all of your advice .

Hope the magnitone works as well for your daughter as it has for mine! I'm contemplating one for me too.

My 15 year old uses all the Florence range by Millie Bobbi Brown. She developed it specifically for teenage skin, and my daughter’s skin has never looked better.
It’s available in Boots and is all cruelty free too.
I quite often steal the little spot patches they are brilliant!

Thank you for this. You mention the spot patches… are there any other products
from this range she’d recommend ?
