Smartish clothes for tomboyish DD(14)

HELP! Sporty teen DD(14) who doesn't/won't wear dresses or skirts needs a couple of pieces that aren't hoodies and leggings/shorts to get her through a couple of forthcoming hotel stays/nice meals out over Christmas.

Protest and Zara used to be our "go to' brands (but Protest don't export to UK any more and I think she has probably grown out of Zara kids - and adults look a bit too..."adult").

She is about 165cm and probably size 10 (and can't be doing with flounces and plunging necklines).

I'm not sure that M&S/Joules/Boden is going to cut it, but Top Shop/Debenhams/New Look/Gap have gone.

I am sure she'd happily buy online, but we need some brand hints.

I suppose she might get a job if she turns up in a school blouse and black trousers, but that wasn't the plan!

Are Fat Face and White Stuff okay? It all seems a bit...well..school mummy.

My dad is 165cm at 12, out of kids sizes because her arms and legs are looong, very small build, barely a size 4. She likes some of AllSaints, H and M and lives in joggers and hoodies when out of school uniform. If I ask her to choose, she just chooses jeans and hoodies/sweatshirts/ loose shirts. I've decided to just let her get on with it, she'll soon find her way. I remember at that age and my mother trying to force me into dresses, I just wore jeans.

Thanks everyone. I think Alex & Alexa, Mango and Lindex will be the first places I suggest that she looks.

It's good to see that European manufacturers are doing age 15&16 clothing.
She's getting a bit to long/tall for Zara kids.

Just thought I would pop back to mention that GAP online has 50% off everything. They often seem to advertise hefty discounts (so this might be unremarkable).
