I need jeans for my tall DDs that are longer than GAP. Any suggestions?

Have tried GAP long and lean....still an inch+ too short.

They have an age 3-4/4-5years waist measurment and need 22-23" inside leg.

They don't like adjustable waists and there is only say tight you can pull them,

H&M

Boden extra skinny?

SleighlyMadSanta · 13/12/2007 18:27

Ooo TY, didn't know they did childrens clothes.

What size in H&M would compare to the age 5 and age 6 waistbands on GAP?

Another for H&M.
Most of my DCs next jeans are really long too.

BrightBaublesBeetroot · 13/12/2007 18:28

no idea - take a look and see

SleighlyMadSanta · 13/12/2007 18:29

TY...if you could compare the waistband size to the brand you recommend I can get inside leg measurements from ebay sellers (as I am not paying £20 for kids jeans !!!).

If they don't like adjustable waists then just remove the button and sew the elastic down permanently. Job done.

SleighlyMadSanta · 13/12/2007 18:45

I have already done that. The GAP jeans are not too bad as the botton is at the front and dosen't dig into their hip. I have done it will all of their others though. HOwever, yu can only pull them up so far before they start to look silly

TY - I will look in H&M after Christmas. Can't bear a trip to the city before Christmas.

There aren't many on ebay.

H&M tend to be as big on the waist as Gap but they are long. My DD tried on some French Connection Jeans and they were long on her but they did stay up without a belt.

Am am way outside London...In fact I havn't been to London in over 15 years. It is too big and scary .
