Would anyone like to talk about makeup brushes??!!

Because I have just been recommended a foundation brush and it is marvellous!!

I now only have a powder brush and a foundation brush. What other brushes are any good?

The one I bought was from the Body Shop and cost £11!!

body shop are the best ..I have bought cheaper before but the bristles come out on your face which is really annoying!! I wash my body shop one with shampoo every month and it is lovely again

pah £11 is nothing apparently MAC brushes ar the dogs bolleaux here

I would get an eyeliner brush and shading one next if I were you.

Stila double-ended eyeliner brush (for using damp with eyeshadow). Fantastic.

I love Bobby Brown Brushes, have the whole set. Worth every penny

I was at Bicester shopping village yesterday and they had a fab Mac brush set for £30 in a bag. Great quality and will last forever.

I have had a Bobbi Brown blusher brush for 7 years and it cost £40 I think at the time - still totally immaculate

I have some mac ones and they really are fab. But pricey.
you can sometimes find sets on ebay, worth a look.
Their website also gives detailed instructions on differentlooks with make up no's and brushes used.

Dunno I didn't buy them all at once, probably sevral hundred but they have lasted great. I do wash them and take alot of care though

I second Body Shop brushes. I bought Benefit before, also Prescriptives, Shu Uemura, and several other brands. Body Shop ones are lovely. Mine are very soft, whithstand (sp?) a lot of washing and are still like new. And they are also cheap enough to replace in case they are mistreated (erm... for example, by a toddler )... I luuuurve mine!

I have a prescriptives foundation brush and it is fab, benefit ones are great as are body shop.

I was going to ask for some new make up brushes for christmas.

May look at those smashbox ones.

Are smashbox cosmetics good then, may buy my sister a few bits for Christmas.

I have to say a prescriptives blusher brush i have is sooo good. it's contored(spelling?) to your face and cheek bone. I also have some ruby and millie ones which if you look in the accesories bit in boots they can sometimes be cheaper then the longer handled ones?! and then i have some bobbi brown ones - a eyebrow one which is perfectly stiff and mac. They are worth investing in because they last and last. 1 at a time is what i do. Except sponge applicators i buy in post of 10 from boots beacuse of different shades. have fun x
